at the strip plaza there is a starbucks that i sit in sometimes. to read, and also to drink something, but i was not in the mood. the strip mall area also offers a fabric store, a rite aid, and a video store. it is a blockbuster video store. i went inside, even though i had already strained my eyes in our apartment full of movies and dvds, 100 cable channels and tapes and mp3s, monitors, dsl and cds, video games, tivo and other kinds of media, like books and magazines. i walked into the video store with a pop song stuck in my head. blockbuster offers many movies for rent, at prices less expensive than making a movie yourself or buying a whole movie theatre.
