(September, 2002) - The ultimate culmination of my self-indulgent experimentation with CSS design, this layout was based on sliding background image concept. After fiddling with several images in Photoshop, I used CSS to control the elaborate positioning, borders, colors and transparency for each of these elements. I still think of this design as clunky, user-unfriendly, and simply beautiful... spiraling squiggly mess that it is, box-model hack and all.
