So, my friend Dave is taking a music history class, and the speaker at tonight's seminar is none other than Mr. J. Geils, of "Centerfold" and "Freeze Frame" fame, plus an entire catolog of more respectable guitar rock. As part of his final grade, Dave needs to ask Mr. Geils three questions tonight that are smart and appropriate for his class. What would you ask? Here's some band history to get you thinking. Please help ASAP.

It's amazing how poorly I keep track of my wallet when one considers how much it sucks to lose my wallet. Normally it floats freely between my back pocket, my messenger bag, that cabinet at work, the center console of my car, the desk in my home office, the top of my bedside table, and the shelf in the hallway. Such is my wallet's routine. Sometimes it waits overnight in my jeans when I shed them onto teh floor.
I stayed home sick today, and the stress of freaking out about my wallet for one full hour did not aid my recovery. The sudden absense of this important packet that I take for granted presented me with a variety of sucky possibilities and questions. Should I cancel the credit cards? Will I have to go to the damn DMV? Should I check my bag again, for the 5th time? DID I LEAVE IT ON TOP OF THE CAR OMG WHY WOULD I LEAVE IT THERE I'M SO DUMB!
Luckily my fantastic girlfriend looked and found it on the floor of our Honda Element, parked securely at her office. Bless her! I for one am eagerly awaiting the barcode tatoos and RFID hand implants that will make these anacronistic pocket contraptions obsolete. I have enough STUFF to keep track of, thanks.

So, today Adobe announced that it will be buying Macromedia, effectively rolling the design software playing field into one all-encompassing Unicron conglomerate. The question is, will Adobe preserve the Macromedia brand and its popular Studio MX suite (Dreamweaver, Freehad, Fireworks, Flash and Contribute) or will it merge these apps with the hugely successful Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, ImageReady, InDesign, GoLive, PageMaker) to form a SuperSuite? What applications would it contain, and what would they be called? My friend Star and I came up with a few ideas...

Among the projects that are keeping me busy lately: last week I launched version 3.0 of Southers Marsh.com, a streamlined website revision for the family-owned golf course / cranberry farm behind the house where I grew up. I had the pleasure to work at Southers Marsh for a couple of years, both on the grounds and in the kitchen.

Ah, so another Official Internet Jackass Day has officially come and gone. In case you missed it, today I launched YET ANOTHER social network called Sixfoo! 660пїЅ. Finally, a place for networks like Orkut, Friendster and Flickr to be themselves and keep in touch! Plus, it offers you YET ANOTHER place to type in a bunch of personal info and lists of the trendy media you consume.
In case you didn't notice the first time around, there are several pages to the parody once you "Sign In". I spent about 6 hours putting the whole thing together (enough time that I overslept and missed a 10am performance review meeting with my boss - oh, the irony!) but I think it came out pretty well. Special thanks to Leonard for suggesting ideas and icons for many of the networks, and to the Yahoo! gang behind 360пїЅ for being good sports. Yes, another Internet Jackass Day. Until next year.
